At the meeting, Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Technology made a general introduction to the development requirements of the CAP1400 main steam safety valve. Our CAP1400 main steam safety valve development team made research on the background of the project, design schemes for project development, key technologies such as spring development, and displacement identification. A detailed report of the test, the action performance test plan and the follow-up work was carried out.
The experts attending the meeting carefully listened to the report, expressed their affirmation of the research work done by our company, unanimously agreed to pass the design review of the CAP1400 main steam safety valve, and put forward some valuable opinions and suggestions. The research and development team will optimize the design based on the opinions and suggestions of experts, speed up the manufacture and testing of prototypes, and strive to achieve the localization of research and development products as soon as possible.
This design review meeting was successfully held, laying a solid technical foundation for overcoming the CAP1400 main steam safety valve. It indicates that Neway has the design, production, testing and testing capabilities of a major special CAP1400 main steam safety valve for a large advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
